Nocturna's Webliographic Collection
(AKA, "The Directory")
Welcome to the directory! I observe you're curious about assorted sites like I am. Inspired by the Johnny Decimal System.
If you're interested to know about the ethos surrounded by the creation and development of this directory... I'll soon publish my essay about the importance of web archiving, but in the meanwhile all you need to know is that I have long-lasting fascination towards classification, research and yes, browsing obscure resources. I'm naturally a link hoarder and avaricious reader. So this project is the natural reflection of it. I'm adapting the format of many of the historically stored links, with ocassionally the spontaneously found ones, to share about my own findings. The pace which the directory is updated is currently daily, so you can observe in real-time the growth of this page! I may get overly descriptive on some entries, specially if they're memorable or insightful in a certain shape or form!
Criteria:
- Primarily driven by creative, educational, or recreational purposes. Site might be profitable, but not as a crucial intent.
- By extension, no paywalled content.
- That's it.
Note: The tagging system is still on its experimental phase. In an upcoming time I will publish the general structure, content, criteria and hierarchy of tags, including a guide . They'll eventually get their own browsable page!
Note 2: Please enable Javascript. The entries were stored as JSON files for portability and general cleanliness of the page and interface. (and because I wanted to experiment with the feature)
